For those with an "eye" for fashion and a heart for helping others, The Pink Fund has created Share the Vision Shades for Pink™. The two day event takes place at fine optical stores throughout the metro area showcasing the latest "shades" fashions. |
The Shades for Pink event will take place during regularly acheduled stores hours at participating retail outlets. There is no charge to attend. Events and specials vary at each location:
Providing financial aid to women and men afflicted with breast cancer.
The Pink Fund has been formed to help women and men suffering from breast cancer focus on healing, raising their families and returning to the workplace.
The Pink Fund will provide short-term financial aid during the brief period of treatment and recovery. Millions of dollars are being raised for research and programs for the medically underserved, but despite this there are many families facing breast cancer who urgently need financial help now.

Bust Stops Tour Hits the Road

Cancer Awareness Month may be over, but every three minutes another US woman
receives a diagnosis of cancer and her life starts changing forever.
The Pink Fund is taking this message about breast cancer's financial impacts "on the road" with an interesting traveling companion, a plaster bust of herself before her cancer surgery.
Molly MacDonald, founder of The Pink Fund created the bust for a variety of reasons but never thought she would be accepting invites for it.
The Pink Fund encourages organizations to invite "My Winged Victory" and Molly MacDonald to their meetings and events.
