Share the Vision, Shades for Pink
From time to time, we all need a new pair of Shades, Readers, Prescription Glasses. Well, here is your chance to make a purchase and at the same time support women and men in your community struggling with financial issues as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis.
This one-day event will be held annually, the last Saturday in April.
The date for 2007 is Saturday, April 28th.
Participating Optical stores will be making a donation to The Pink Fund, in part based on sales that day.

The Power of the Purse to Benefit The Pink Fund
The Pink Fund plans to hold an auction of well-known women’s purses. This event is in conjunction with Fara Warner, author of The Power of the Purse.
If you are known for an achievement of any kind, (positive of course) or know somebody who is and would like to donate a purse, please contact us.
This event will be organized by Lisa Gleeson of A2Z Event Planning and Lisa’s Gift Wrappers in Royal Oak, Michigan.

The Women’s Tour De Force
No, this is not a Lance Armstrong event! But like Lance, we know a cancer diagnosis provides an opportunity to claim victory. This is your chance to claim the right to wear "The Pink Jersey".
The Women’s Tour de Force is for both the serious and recreational cyclist. This event is for the woman, man, teenager, child who wants to “Ride for This Cause” providing short-term financial aid to those in treatment and recovery for breast cancer.
In the early planning stages, this event will be held annually in the third quarter of 2007.
